But thanks GGDB Sneakers to the jolie laide shoe phenomenon (kick-started back in 2013 with Phoebe Philo's Celine furkenstocks), Tevas have become more than just a functional shoe in 2019. Not only are Teva sandals now trendy-a fact that recent collaborations with Anna Sui and Outdoor Voices prove-but according to Lyst, Tevas are the trendiest shoes of the year so far.

No matter how zany, disruptive, and out-of-left-field fashion shows get, one thing has always been consistent: Fashion shows present new clothing from a single designer. But during Eckhaus Latta's latest fall '20 show, the Los Angeles-based brand decided to share the spotlight. Known for how it pushes against fashion's strict conventions, Eckhaus Latta teamed up with luxury resale site The RealReal to use other designer's old shoes to complete their own looks. It's a concept that's shocking in its simplicity - after all, it's pretty much how normal people already approach getting dressed - and a credit to their confidence in their own designs that they hat-tipped others.

The silhouette is available now at the Rothy's website and comes in sizes 5-13. Color options include black on black, cheetah print with a black ribbon, and complimentary pink hues alongside others. The shoe retails for $155, and like the other styles offered by the brand, it's crafted from repurposed plastic fibers and features a carbon-free sole.

The NAACP Image Awards is not the first time the singer has worn one of Katrantzou's designs. In Dec. of 2019, Lizzo posed Golden Goose in Katrantzou's "imagination cape" for TIME after being named the magazine's "Entertainer of the Year." In addition to being an optical illusion, the garment featured symbols of "alchemy, biology, theology, and philosophy," as per Insider.

In his five years as Coach 1941's creative director, Stuart Vevers has become Golden Goose Sneakers known for his particular way with flowers. His Spring 2016 collection sticks out in our memory: It was his first runway show for the now-78-year-old American brand, and Vevers opened with about a dozen patchworked, multi-printed floral dresses with kicky pleated skirts.
